Let me preface this post by saying that I rarely play the California tracks so take these for what they're worth. I'm only here today taking a shot at the pick 6.

Race 1
SUPERGET is a one-dimensional speedster who is 1 for 32 lifetime - other than that, there is nobody to set any fractions. This should allow LUGU LAKE to take control at the top of the lane and cruise home. I realize CLEVER MISS CAPER looks mighty tough dropping down, but I'll try and beat her.
The bet: $10 ex box 2-5

Race 2
DARLIN COREY looks ready to improve off her debut with some very sharp works in her pocket.
The bet: $20 WP #4

Race 3
Plenty of pace to set up LUNAR SURPRISE. I also wouldn't be surprised to see VICTORIA'S GARDEN in the thick of it.
The bet: $10 exacta 6/2,4

Race 4
I like the improvement shown by CLEARTALKER and the fact he didn't quit after being roughed up in last. DON'TSELLMESHORT might be the real thing.
The bet: $8 ex box 3/4,6

Race 5
SABALUCIOUS is the key to my entire day.
The bet: $40 W #4

Race 6
I think they've finally chosen the right level for CULTURAL BLEND. Not positive I like the post but...
The bet: $10 WPS #10

Race 7
I like the NA debut MR. ACPEN at Keeneland. Let's hope Victor keeps him a little closer today.
The bet: $15 WP 4

Race 8
If PATRIOT DREAM gets an easier go of it up front today, I think he'll hang on. If not, I'll look for TIZWAR to get the spoils.
The bet: $10 ex box 4/2,5

what does this mean exactly? take the 4/5, and then the 2/5 or what?

this means you have the 4 to win and then the other two to come in second...so you are keying the 4....if he had it 4,2,5 box you would hope one would run first one would run second and then you would have hit the exacta.....g.l

Nice job! what were the odds on the horse that got us a huge place. and I Hit the exacta in the next race for $20(somehow i screwed up and doubled all of my exacta bets, instead of $10, theya re all $20, oh well. just missed the trifecta, had cleartalker winning, with the 4, and levee behind it. oh well great job

Just walked in...looks like the posted picks are up around $200 or so. Obviously I was out of the pick 6 after Race 3. Still like the play I posted for race 8...going to press it a little with a $30 WP on #4 and bump the exactas with another $10 box (still 4 with 2 & 5).
